I *might* have the Super Bee come monday morning, so it should make an appearance in the session. Too many fuzzes.....

There again, is there such a thing as "too many fuzzes"?

Re: SuperBee for Teh Hevay?
My SUper Bee just arrived yesterday. So far I have only been able to run it through my baby Orange AD5 combo. It sounds HUGE! To my ears, it sounds a bit like the Sola Sound/ D*A*M MKII but with more gain and saturation and a more ragged, biting texture. It sounds great with either chords or single note stuff. There is a LOT of volume available also. I generally use volume controls as a crude tone control... more volume generally brightens my amps up and less smoothes things and darkens them. The Super Bee has a raspy edge and sounds really killer with low tuned single note riffs. It almost reminds me of a Meathead in some ways, mainly the saturation available and the toothiness too. I also love to drone out a lot of really slow early Earth/ Sunn stuff and it works really well for that too. It helps to back off of the volume a little to smooth and roll the highs a little in that case. Overall, so far I am VERY impressed with this pedal! I play heavier stuff most of the time and this thing fits it perfectly
PS, for any of you guys with an existing '66 thinking "Nah, I don't need a Super Bee.. my '66 has Super Mode!".. trust me.. the Super Bee is it's own thing! Definitely worth having both!
Mr Main, my hat is off to you for this amazing creation!

Re: SuperBee for Teh Hevay?
i had a chance to try Sickle's super bee #02.
at the time I was messing around with so many MKI and one of his fuzzaround,,, also proto-Valve-Klipper thing... my memory of super bee is thin now.
i should have a chance to try it again very soon.
