Dave made me a special "Bantam Rooster" with an OC45 in it, while ago...

Here 'Tis in action with my groop:

It's just a first take run thru of our practice, two condenser mics pointed up, room sound...basic idea, to get some gigs.

1st song: (Can't Tame Me) I'm the 2nd the geetar to come in, just OC45 Rooster, '61 Jazzmaster, piece of crap Randall SS amp. for solo, i think it was a Fuzzrite (with Rooster still on)...(i dig the focus & mid range crunch the Rooster provides)

2nd: (Midnight To Six Man) same set up...

i love that little dam rooster!

I just peeked at equipment list after listening and I had that Jazzmaster pegged in the first bar! :marx: I still have some hearing left!

Very nice! I tend to play my JM clean with 12s, so it inspires me to use it for other things than Surf.

Have you tried earlier editions of the Rooster and how does the OC45 compare?

thanks guys,

i haven't really compared this OC45 one with any others, except Kevin's Java Boost which had
a wider range of dynamic possibilities with that toggle on there, but this Banty Roo is just great.

i digs it!

OC45, no LED & chicken heads...good combo!
