I think maybe with a little primitive fuzz these Danelectros are the best garage or psych like 60's dirt rock going.

yup, volume for each pickup. the pointer knobs are on/off switches. then there's a master volume
the guy i got it from had it in 5 string open G. I switched out the strings for a full set of 7s. Im really blown away by how well it plays. I thought my silvertone 1303 was magic but this dano is really superb!

Needed something to hold the weight of the guitar. What I liked about these is that they're backed with suede, not seatbelt webbing (I hate that stuff) and there are no rivets - everything is sewn. Really, really nice feel - feels like a vintage Ace but better made. Straight outta Kansas City.

That is a nice strap (, but I do like seatbelt webbing).
