9V Battery Snap (straight)
Allows you to power your 9V battery effects that don’t have an external power jack. Great for powering vintage effects that you don’t want to modify like a Fuzz Face or Cry Baby wah. Works with any effect that runs on 9V including Z-Vex, older Ibanez, MXR, and more.
PPBAT: $3.50 - Approximately 21” long, end-to-end.

or the closest "Dollar Store"....
Eveready, Panasonic, Hamilton Beach etc...
AnalogMan (Mike) says,
"Alkaline batteries are OK for most things except fuzz pedals, or a really simple early pedal like the Dallas Rangemaster. In those pedals, the battery really becomes an integral part of the circuit, and not only will it sound different with a carbon battery, but youíll get more volume from a carbon battery in those pedals..."

Re:
I've considered doing this. Anyone done a sound comparison between a fuzz (a) powered by 9V DC battery versus (b) the same fuzz powered by battery snap connector from 9V DC adapter?hunkowood wrote:9V Battery Snap (straight)
