Ahoy Fuzz Freakola's!

Its been a while, ay. Much happenings on planet D*A*M of late. We just turned 5 years of age on the 25th October. Craziness! Only seems like yesterday when I set sail on this strange journey. We just landed ourselves a new member to the the gang now making the D*A*M family four strong...mines a black coffee, thanks.

I'm currently in the process of pimping the website...as you'll already know if you're reading this. Attitude with a side serving of cheese?!?
The standard production pedals had a wee face lift a while back now, with thanks to Mr.Stringer, so will be getting new pics up to match the fuzzy goodies that the folk at V&R will be selling in their fine store.

We have some pretty sexy custom ventures in the pipe lines too so should make for interesting times ahead. We also now have a dirty under belly.
Dirty sounds are dirty.

Biggity Bam! This is the news...

I'm very proud to announce that I am now working with the fine gents at Colorsound and will be making their reissue Professional MKII Tone Bender. I don't really think I need make any explanation on the pedal itself but in a nutshell, its made as closely as possible to the real deal whilst making a pedal that I consider to be cost effective. For me personally its the culmination of approx 5 years research on the original Sola Sound Pro MKII's.

Most on this is stuff has been on the forum for a while now but I am adding it here as a page in case you missed the boat the first around and to reaffirm that I really want you to read it before you request I make you one.

Okay okay well I'd better get down to brass tacks. I've held off doing this but it has to be said sooner of later.

Some of you folks out in cyber space may have observed the updated price list for 2009. If not, go look...

Yes, the prices have gone up. The nature of the business I'm afraid. I still stand by these as being very reasonable for the type of the product we make. I think you all know me by now and know that I'm not in this game to make a fast buck. Yeah I make a living from it and enough profit that I can slowly evolve the business and pay my bills.

These prices will only relate to new lists that open and any eBay sales we make from this point onwards. If you are on a list now I will honour the price you were quoted when you got on it. Simple.

So yes prices have gone up. I pay more you pay more. No big deal. This is not the actually the headline news of my announcement. Oh, the plot thickens.

So, you looked at the new price list yet?
Something missing right? Hmmm Yes that is correct, there is no Pro MKII listed. Why? ...Because I have decided to stop making them.

Evolution. It happens. The reasons are tenfold but simply...I want to make other things. I only intended to make 10, I will be pushing 300+ by the time I'm done. There is also another reason that will become clear in time. Its not the end its a colorful the beginning. ...Patience grasshopper.

You'll also notice on the new price list that there be a new name, Fuzz Sound MKIII, Ah, it lives, and maybe wonder why this and the 1966 have no pricing information.
The Fuzz Sound info will hit the Street very soon along the pricing. The 1966 has grown legs and walked out of the swamp. Gibberish aside it will match the housing of the Fuzz Sound. The pricing for these will be added soon.

So, a quick summary.

New Pricing for 2009.

No more D*A*M MKII's.

The Spaceship is due and the Fuzz Sound MKIII enters play.

The 1966 pops a few pills and gets all beefcake like.

If you are on a list for a MKII now you will get one. I have a small reserve list that I will try and fulfil. Please do not ask me (or Sickle) to add you to this. It was taken time ago. Any extras that are not claimed or passed over to the reserve list I will throw up in the eBay store.

Bam! Meathead Deluxe list#1 complete. Pro MKII list #2 up next...4-5 weeks to go.

Observe the new pricing. This only relates to the new lists once they re-open. If you are on a list now you pay the price you were quoted.
