Building a mosrite mk2 - the lobotomiser

Post by squarewave »

Hello mates thought I share a whole bunch of pics of the mosrite mk2 I’ve been building. I’ve not been able to find plans so I blew up some pics I found online and made templates for the body, head stock, routing and pic guard.

There have been a few departures from the real mosrite to make it a bit more playable for me such as -

Neck a few mm wider
Mini humbuckers (wound by my bud jamie whom makes pickups for harvester guitars)
Tunomatic and Gibson stop tail piece
Medium jumbo frets
Few extra screws in the scratch plate

My pal whom is a graphic designer made the logo that I absolutely love!!

Anyhoo here be a shit load of pics (sorry out of sequence, just figuring out how to post pics)
