I’m finally making good progress with the Hagstrom Futurama Coronado Automatic. Reinforced the old headstock repair and cut new scratchplate and truss rod cover. Just need to tidy and chamfer the edges of the scratchplate before electrics go in.

I thought I was going to finish the Hagstrom Futurama project today. Got it strung up and tuned with a rough setup and quickly noticed that the intonation is off by a semi tone at the 12th fret
See pic for where the bridge needs to be to intonate properly!

When the headstock break was repaired, the neck must’ve been shortened by a lot! Fuck it. I’m going to move the bridge and trem back then chuck an extra pickup where original bridge was.

what fun!

:eject:

would be killer to stick a mean-ass telecaster bridge pickup in there. just not sure how you'd mount it w/o massive modifications.
