i like pedals when you know they're on
When I saw you with that lost look on your face saying you had just saw ET, I thought "uh oh, game over" - innerflight

Slapping together a strat to keep in Eb tuning.
Put three sealer coats in the neck and neck plus a few tint layers on the neck.
I’ll hit it with a few coats of colour later in the week. Tossing up between shell pink and sea foam green - was going to do a sparkle green but went off that idea.
I’m going to do a bit of ageing on the hardware and some checking of the paint. Should be fun.

I’d go green personally.
It's like an orange on a toothpick

Yeah me too. Surf or sea foam green, I’m not sure if the more blue in the sea foam green will make it a less stable colour as nitrocellulose paint.

Surf Green or Sonic Blue imo
There is something about those two colours with a rosewood fretboard

Shot two base coats plus three layers of sea foam/surf green. If I get a chance today I’ll shoot three more. Good spraying weather at the moment so I should probably make the effort.
Edit - so I made the effort and made it up to 7 coats, tried to take an outside pic but it still doesn’t reflect the colour

Thanks mate.
Six clear coats next week then, the long wait for those to harden. Boo!

Next painting fun. Getting the vox wah enclosure ready (that me old Nanna gave me for my 21st some 26 years ago) to drop in one of Stu’s grey wah kits.
Under coat
First of the blue hammer coats.
My first time using hammerite paint. Sure is fun...and it looks like the real deal.

Are you heat setting your paint on that wah enclosure? I was just given three repro rotosound fuzz enclosures but they're raw. Was probably gonna take them to get powder coated, but didnt know if maybe I could do a decent finish myself.
