My new Fender Nocaster Relic and friends! (D*A*M for sure)
Hi Guys! I'm really happy with this new Nocaster Relic I got. I dropped Kinman Broadcaster pickups in it and so far it's been amazing.
This new clip has a bunch of different pedals but at 5:35 I dig in to the D*A*M MKII (OC75) and it sound KILLER with the Nocaster.
Check it out: (click "watch in high quality")

Thanks Guys!
The irony here is that I had to sell my OC81D to get this guitar but now I wish I had the OC81D because although the OC75 sounds killer with the Tele I can totally see how an OC81D would be an even better choice for a Tele. The OC81D is warmer/darker/gainier and I think a Tele actually begs for those traits.
...not that I'm unhappy with the OC75. Still the shit without a doubt!

Great as usual Chris. Any updates on the Metro? I bought the 50 watt kit, got here yesterday.
NOCASTER: The Tele was first issued as the "Broadcaster" Gretsch owned the name & objected to Fender's use of it. So between the Broadcaster & Telecaster some unnamed guitars were produced, nicknamed Nocaster.

What Cado said.Sickle wrote:So wtf is a nocaster anyways besides the obvious?
I like to think of them as lost soul Telecasters ...a sort of bastard child Tele. IMO they were the coolest Tele's ever with the 62 Custom a close second. Teles have mojo simple as that.
Here's some detailed info about the model I have:

Thanks Guys!

I'm waiting on an custom cab from Scumback. I ordered a 2x12 with an H75 and an M75 ...should be here soon. All I know is that when I plugged that thing in to that vintage greenback cab I was blown away. BTW when Val put it together he cut the bright cap.Cado wrote:Great as usual Chris. Let us know how the 50 watt sounds! I bet that things gonna scream!

What they said....it is also the guitar that has the PERFECT neck shape. Best neck contour of all time.Sickle wrote:So wtf is a nocaster anyways besides the obvious?
