Monolith Pedals "Oracle" & "Spectre" Fuzz clip (just added)
Cado and I got together yesterday to do some fuzz clips.
After my multirack failed me (or you should I say, I failed it!)
we decided instead to just do some jamming live into my DAT player and see what comes of it.
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=7244745
Cado is playing a Gibson Les Paul with P-90's into the Monolith Pedals Oracle Fuzz, then straight into a 1966 Ampeg Gemini amplifier.
I'm playing my G&L SB-2 bass, straight into the mixer.
Drum loop provided by my 80's Alesis drum machine.
Cado does some really nice 70's psychedlic riffing
and the Oracle IMO sounds phenomenal.
The fuzz is off at the beginning and end of the clip for reference.
Added some effects post for maximum grooviness.
DIG!

What fun!! Nice playing too specially when you start getting a bit spacey
My kind of thing too - I just wish I could have brought a few bits of gear round and joined in though I probably would have just got in the way!
Graham
(that drum machine sounds handy too)

Re: Monolith Pedals "Oracle" Fuzz Clip
Thx for the compliments Graham, Jack, Dev, etc.
The Oracle's got that Vulcan mind-meld, velcro rip, blooming fuzz-tone that makes you want to break out the overhead projector, the colored oils, and a sheet of blotter paper.
OK maybe that's a bit fanciful, but you get the idea.
I'm just wondering when Mike from Monolith is gonna' be on every fuzz freak's
gotta-get-some list?
He 's really good at these builds and at fine tuning his circuits to capture the minute details he hears in his head.
He's got a Ge/Si hybrid coming out soon too.

go and block yourself up in a cave on the side of a mountain for a few days and I guarantee that by the time the resuers come youll have changed your mind over your next fuzz choice more than once even though you have been removed from all teptations to purify yourself (and maybe had bad thought about those bums too - hope mrs jack not looking!
