Grimpen Mire - Sonic Titan.

Post by Jim Goad »

***SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT!***

We recorded some new tracks just before Christmas with a fair amount of D*A*Mage included. The 1st track is pure Sonic Titan on Guitar (except for the cleanish bits) & the Bass is all about the Turbo Rat (except for the cleanish bits). 2nd track switches between Sonic Titan & amp drive (Peavey 6505) with unbranded Colorsound / Sola Sound wah & Morley ECV kicking in on the lead & at the end.

Check out http://www.myspace.com/grimpenmire1971 for our other new stuff :freakout:

I like the circularity of the cut time on the first track. Hypnotic. And damn, that Titan is SICK!

What's not to love with Grimpen Mire?? :freakout:

Some devilishly nice riffs in there, and of course sublime tone. great stuff!
Wasn't there a plan for GM shirts? Did I miss out?

Hopefully the word will spread although as I remember wasn't Jim the one who painted a D*A*M effect on his chest for the photo competition ? He wouldn't wear a teeshirt - he'd have sickle tattoo some Grimpen Mire artwork instead :hihi:

Great job, I like the riff and your guitar tones
are perfect for the music.

If I'd known there was original music in this thread (no indication thereof), I would've checked in sooner!

I sold my Titan when I found out I was going to be a father (needs must, and a bit of a panic sale..), and REALLY wish I'd kept it....never more so than when I crank up some Grimpen Mire or Misericorde.
