Stacking Fuzzes?

Post by kristo »

Does anyone here stack their fuzzes? It's just last night I set my Drag'n'fly's gain at about noon to get a real nice crunchy fuzz and kicked the meathead deluxe in after this with the gain nearly dimed. I got a monster sound!

Some almost require it. The Ampeg Scrambler is much more fun when hit hard with a booster or a fuzz. I love to put a Shin-ei FY-2 into another for the sound of a million mosquitoes filled to the gills with blood splattering on your car's winshield at 75 mph.

any octavia style fuzz into a fuzz face style fuzz is a really awesome sound...I believe Hendrix might have done this back in the day. I really enjoy the sound of my malekko b:assmaster into an analogman sunface...it's a pretty insane and sustainful sound. Also a ts style overdrive after a fuzz gets a real cool smooth sound which can be pretty cool. Have fun!!!

It does create some noise, but I think it's too much for me and my dirty blues style. I think I'm heading for the classic treble booster/fuzz combo!
