Jimmy Behan Super Electric MkI

Post by waveclipper »

Jimmy Behan's MkI tone bender clone using his own special component soup recipe with the standard attack & volume knobs and a battery on/off switch.

It's a really great MkI snowflake, dead quiet after notes decay yet it still rasps away beautifully - plenty of top end glitter. Attack knob sweep is damn near perfect, from gated at zero to full on roar. Much fun to be had! :badteeth:

^ Love the demo, especially the widdly-widdly outro :tu:
I've got one of Jimmy's MkI's (pre-Super Electric, standard circuit) that I absolutely adore and it's tuned pretty much exactly as you describe: super quiet, lovely bloom and decay, really nice range.

Thank 'ee chaps!

haha! Apologies for the widdly diddly Horsey - it just tracks so well that the spirit of Blackmore filled me with his self indulgent wank, just for a little bit though! :hihi:

Hell yeah! I wish it were 5 minutes longer. It would be great to crank this for the morning commute!

Pedal sounds freaking great! J Behan is building again, right?

Damn, Steve…killer demo!! My head almost exploded at the 'outro' part… :headpop: :teeth2:

love the various sections where you show the range of tones, overall…(1:48, for instance - is that neck pickup?)
