Jimmy Behan's MkI tone bender clone using his own special component soup recipe with the standard attack & volume knobs and a battery on/off switch.

It's a really great MkI snowflake, dead quiet after notes decay yet it still rasps away beautifully - plenty of top end glitter. Attack knob sweep is damn near perfect, from gated at zero to full on roar. Much fun to be had!

I've got one of Jimmy's MkI's (pre-Super Electric, standard circuit) that I absolutely adore and it's tuned pretty much exactly as you describe: super quiet, lovely bloom and decay, really nice range.
