here's one of the iron butterfly fuzz wah.... this one is nowhere near unity but sounds pretty cool.... definitely could use a booster after it....

Sounds great - is the fuzz circuit itself the same as a Fuzzrite?

Wah sounds way better than I was expecting. Does it have an inductor?

there are some similarities but it doesn't take the signal from either transistor and send them to either side of the tone pot... the tone pot is driven by only the last transistor then split high to low more like a MKIV... here's the schemo floating on the web....

yes it does have an inductor.... a few different parts values from your bog standard wah tho... i'll post some guts soon..
