Ian's DIZZY TONE..............

Post by Scott »

Here's a nice demo that my cousin graciously did which showcased
Ian's excellent dizzy tone (Elka) pedal. Also, a brief demo shootout
between Ian's pedal and the colorsound reissue (1972) tone bender which uses 2 bfy NOS 60's silicon trannies and one NKT214 NOS 60's germanium transistor. Although i don't think there are any real winners here. Kind of an apples and oranges thing going on. BOTH great pedals in their own way!! Enjoy. :crackjam: Using a relic nocaster and played through an all original 1959 Fender Deluxe amp.

very nice scott! will have a good listen to them all tonight but i'm liking the start of the first clip with the sustain turned down, the beast can be quite mellow at times :hihi:

Sounds really good. Greasy.

Thanks Ian. And yes it is very 'greasy'. :marx: This pedal is very versatile. From a biased 'crunch fuzz' to an all out extreme fuzz.
