Re: FUZZ - documentary about stompboxes
OK, mint fresh! Makes me glad you like it much! I think it's great with David in there and to hear lots of guys working with fuzz gear, speaking very personally out of their different perspectives. But maybe they could have deepend the view of some of the gear, that is, looked inside the boxes somewhat, and listened more differentiated to a range of sounds for each box..(?)
But of course, there are not many films like this around, to begin with, and it,s a very good thing this documentary was made, at all..!
There must be more D*A*M guys in there, than David and Bart? The swede Björn Juhl, for example, which is not API... One could only whish they'd made one of the film-parts in England, with yet an additional handfull of collegues!

I have this on DVD as a lot of my friends appear in the movie!
i think it's pretty well done and has a lot of style to it.
Sure, you could make it with more substance and depth, but I don;t think that was really the point of it,
tho' hey, it's not exactly devoid of that either.

What gets me is all the tweaking,
just crank that bitch and be done with it! -- duende
