Great review!

Unfortunately I never tried a D'n'F myself. :scared:
The new ones look pretty slick!

What's the name of the band you play in? (Myspace link?)
There are quite some Belgian folks on this forum, so some publicity won't do any harm...

Look at Way Huge for an anodized example.

Afraid not matey, the old one is my favourite of the two. But they do indeed both sound Godly.

I just got my Trans Copper (Root Beer) 'Fly from Downstroke. I haven't really had a chance to play much into it. The first thing I noticed though that max level is unity. I suppose that's what the Rooster is for?!

I tell you what though, I can hear fuzzface tones in this beast. I'm going to tinker around and see where it takes me. I really enjoy the bitey fuzz lead tones of Gary Louris in the Jayhawk albums, but that's his bit. I'm going to play around and just see.

I didn't peak inside to see what the guts are packing or what the words of wisdom are.

Dnf is vol max'd, fuzz max'd, and shape the tone! :D
Dont really know if mine has unity at max, but it's definitely quieter than other dams.
It's a pretty unique pedal that needs some time to get used to and to take out its full potential imho.
