TITAN LUURRRVVE

Post by slomatic »

I've been getting to grips with this sucker for a while now. Unlike some of my other DAM boxes, this one is a tweaker and initially I was lazy about getting the best out of it. Now that I've spent some time with it, I'm in "JERUSALEM" heaven!!! Gain maxed, volume at 9/10 and the tone just a hair off full left. I could palm mute with this thing for the next 20 years and never get bored. For a good classic doom tone it's maybe the best distortion box I've owned, beating the likes of Ibanez and Catalinbread hands down. Harmonics for days too!

Anyone else using their Titan for heavy duty riffage?? :freakout:

Oh yes, the Titan and the Les Paul tuned to C are best friends. Great for playing some Sleep riffs.

About flipping time you got one man! Pure aggro in a wee box. Cannot imagine being without a Titan ever, they're simply fantastic!

I can't imaging ever playing without mine for guitar work. Makes harmonics a breeze. Sounds great. Makes a snarling beast out of any amp I have played it through. This one is my favorite at the moment. I especially like it in conjunction with my Rooster to really shape the tone. Would love to try it with a detuned guitar, but don't have one right now.

That's all good to hear as I just traded a Red Rooster for one.
Can't wait now...

I am really after one of these pedals as i like the clips on the site, however the clip states it was recorded with a few other tones in the mix. what does this pedal compare to on its own, OCD, RAT, TS808, Zvex BOR or is it its own beast.

I think that it has its own sound. I only know the Rat and TS 808 and it sounds nothing like either one of those to me. Still loving your pedal artistry. I appreciate your skills. Thanks man!
