I have the AM Beano ATM. Happy with it! It's an early 2002??? I think. NKT275 tranny. Nice amount of gain.
Had a HBE 44 which was ok actually. Not as much gain on tap from what I remember although I was running it into a vox AC30 head at the time. I'm all about plexis these days.

I love a good rangemaster. I feel like everyone should have one. They just make everything sound BETTER.

I don't think I've ever played one that I didn't enjoy?

The ARC Rangemaster ruled, I had that one for the longest time. I built up a few of the Madbean Rangemasters using Mullard OC75's which both were great. The latest pair that I built with OC75's also ruled. I really want to experiment with different transistors on my next Rangemaster for sure, just for comparison's sake.

Definitely on my wishlist along with a Pigdog Driver.
Yep It's easy to just crank the amp and hit it with a Rangemaster. Will cut and sound so fucking good in any mix. Seems to fit with most everything I do. I even have a buddy that swears by them now and he plays mostly Reggae and Dub.

Currently I have this Black Country OC44 Rangemaster and couldn't be happier.

Also needed a clean boost with an LED for playing out live so I thought I'd try the Diamond Marquis (serves both as clean and germanium). It's OK as a treble boost into an amp. but works very well for juicing up darker fuzz pedals or ones with enhanced Bass (Superbee) Roll the attack back and hit it. Doesn't brighten them up too much, just rolls off some of the low with a nice upper mid boost. Kind of like a different flavored Wizard. Speaking of which deserves a mention here.

Treble boost inside

I like it more for gritty mid sound it can bring to a clean amp than as a make an already overdriven sound be more RAAAAR. :badteeth:
