^ I actually like her voice. Maybe the big mistake was that they didn't process the shit out of it to make it sound like Beyonce, Rihanna and all those other interchangeables.
Agree that she's smoking though

Re: Guilty Pleasures...
We used to do a cover of this in my old punk band in the 90s with perhaps only a bit of feigned irony. Used to be one of our better received numbers iirc...psycho*daisies wrote:ha

This is still a pretty cool video - foreshadowing Dopes To Infinity-era Monster Magnet!psycho*daisies wrote:ha

Agreed - unintentional double meaning in the lyric "I've used up all my tissues" perhaps

Re: Guilty Pleasures...
haha. That's hilarious, Steve!
Betty Boo! heh. it was like thee only album (of that style) of music i had, before or since. (c'93). I just couldn't help listening to it -infectious, full of pep & clever writing, good production - even if it was super pop and very repetitive...I loved her bossy attitude (yep, she was hot)...hadn't heard it in years, but i just had to dig that old skeleton outta the closet! Hey, waveclipper - is there any video footage of your old punk band?

No video but I think I have some audio on an old C60 cassette in some box somewhere, some photos somewhere too with our 'guest' (male!) vocalist tearing the shit out of it...ahhhh, good times!
