She was a mighty fine looking woman in her day...
My old 90s punk band used to cover this:
And yeah, it was the only song anyone ever liked
I also loved that Betty Boo album and actually saw her play in a nightclub in North Sydney, God knows when. She got panned for miming but I couldn't have cared less.
A real hipster in my lab played this on rotation all day every day for what felt like months. I eventually nuked the cassette and dumped it in the radiation bin.
Here's a guilty pleasure. Anyone remember Girl? I have all their old stuff and still listen to it sometimes. They had a kinda New York Dolls thing going on in the ... 80s? The frontman ended up with L.A. Guns and the guitar player joined Def Leppard .... if that isn't a pedigree for suckage I don't know what is

ok ive been holding off long enough, heres mine ive always had a penchant for all football songs but this one was my earliest memory, i was 4 years old
I don't see nothing wrong with that!
At drunken family occasions we usually end up singing this ..
No guilty pleasures. I love Kiss unabashedly. I love the Bay City Rollers too. Last week I went on a small Rage Against The Machine binge too. NO GUILT!
Fuuuuck! My Number by Girl was one of the first songs I ever learned. My guitar teacher used it as a way to teach power chords cos its so damn simple. I thought it was a really lame song but hearing it today brings back fond memories & it sounds OK.
