What show did you just saw !

Wednesday night psychedelia at the Metro in Sydney - great double bill of King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard and Goat. Two bands, fourteen people, three drummers, seven costumes and one tripped-out slideshow. King Gizzard sounded like a cross between Fela Kuti and Thin Lizzy - some really nice doubled and sometimes tripled guitar lines snaking through their numbers. And it's always cool to see a band rocking an old Yammy SG-3. Goat were incredible, too. Those feathered headdresses and costumes transform two little Swedish girls into a couple of mad Sufi/Zulu Priestesses - kept waiting for one of them to slit a chicken's throat. So much fun and some GREAT fuzz sounds.

Awesome HB, saw they were touring together in OZ, looks like a great night, was it the orb as well or was that just other nights?

^ Support act was actually Orb, a Melbourne rock band, not "The Orb" (the UK guys), although I think they were billed as "The Orb" in some places, which probably confused a lot of people!
I didn't see Orb. Having my mind blown twice in the one night was enough.

The Arcs at Massey Hall Toronto. Had such a great night out with an old band mate. Thomas Brenneck filled in for Nick on bass, for his first show with the Arcs and killed it. I have never seen the type of bass he was playing, it will drive me crazy till I figure it out. Dan rocked a white Vox teardrop that looked and sounded incredible. The all girl mariachi band killed, pretty sure I'm in love with the shorter one with glasses!

Saw Uncle Acid @ Oxford art factory in Sydney, it was awesome! Also caught UMO at the metro. I posted these pics in the pics thread but here they are again:
