Big World Breaks

Post by redeyeflight »

Might not be everyone's cup of tea here but I'd figure might as well make a post about it...if your a funk/hip hop/Latin music fan you might dig. Big World Breaks is a project I've been involved with off and on for the past several years and we recently filmed an episode for a new local TV show called Band In Seattle. The full episode airs this Saturday in the northwest area but you can watch selected songs here:

Hope y'all enjoy!

Needs more fuzz and shredding lead breaks :marx:
Listening now and it sounds really nice. I've always wanted to go back in time and play with Funkadelic or Parliament, with 47 other people on stage. Failing that, a nice little funky soul combo - where you can stand back, hit a groove and sit in the pocket all night long. Must be a fun gig.

Heh...yea, no fuzz sorry! :paranoid: We do a lot of covers live where I make use of a DAM 1966 frequently but the original stuff is mostly pretty clean. I do use a Jerms rat on some stuff but really the Sola/Castledine WOW wah sees the most action. Thanks for enjoying!

I was going to ask what the wah was you were using. Sounds lovely.

The full episode is online now with interviews and such. Honestly it was kind of nerve wracking being filmed live for TV but I think it turned out ok!
