What movie did you just watch?

I figured that I have heard about a lot of cool bands from the music thread, so why not start a movie one?

So to get things going, last night I watched a sweet Australian(?) Sci-Fi movie from the 80s called
"The Quiet Earth"

basically, dude wakes up and he is the last person on earth...or is he!!!!

it's pretty awesome and has a great ending.

some people don't like it, but i LOVE it.
it's very "of it's time" and really surreal at points.
plus you get to see Edie topless for like half the movie.
(sorry, Dave they're not huge boom booms, but it does appear
that she had slight augmentation in the '70 color footage)
...looks like she was on the "cutting edge" of the whole thing !
(my gf said they used to just inject stuff straight in!
(no bag of silicon or anything)...

Sadly, she died before production ended, so they built that into the story.
It's truly an example of art imitating life imitating art...

I watched the Who concert from 1977 in England that was just released recently! totally amazing show and Keith moons second to last live performance!

Just saw The Doors movie with Johnny Depp narrating.
Was very enjoyable.
