"The American Dreamer". Crazy doco from 1971 about Dennis Hopper. Been wanting to see it for years and it's finally out on Blu-ray and DVD. I loved it, but then I love Hopper's "The Last Movie", too.

"Andrei Rublev" might be the best movie I've ever seen (apart from "Wolf Guy", of course) but Tarkovsky's sci-fi has never really done it for me. Looks like I'll have to give him another chance…jagermonster wrote:

I had never seen Stalker, but the local theater was showing this new restoration, so I had to give it a try. I definitely never have to see it again but I'm very glad I went. Genuinely incredible movie making.
