Very cool!
My old one didnโ€™t have mustards unfortunately.
I think Iโ€™ve seen the repro logo transfers on eBay though

Yeah, they used a whole bunch of different input and output caps, and 2 different PCB designs (same board just mirrored, so the caps are by the jack on some, assume that's why they used mustards as they could reach from one side of the PCB to the switch) So hard to use things like this to date, as they seem to pop up all over the timeline, I've come across 4 different enclosure designs, 2 PCBs and a dozen cap types. Guess they went with whatever they had on hand from other product runs that were more popular.

Just for my own sanity and trying to get some semblance of order to the timeline, that unit had a black switch, rather than a red one, right?

These look great, and love the idea of the foot switch model and Blackmore mod. Iโ€™m too new to the forum to DM but Iโ€™ll track you down elsewhere. :)

Why do you do this to me Hornby Skewes!!!!! :bangs head:

So, there were early PCB, Si units with screws-in rather the riveted red switches, and non-mustard caps.....at least it has the battery clip mounted on the base rather than the really early ones that had it mounted in the case, that would have really screwed with my theory that you can somewhat date them based on how the battery clip is mounted!

At least non of the component values are a curveball!

Ha. I wonder how many were made. Yeah I think these early circuits just shoved in W hat ever they could find.
Iโ€™ve seen various variations
