I came across http://www.tapeloops.tk/, and sent my tape cartridge off to Sam after giving up on finding a replacement cartridge. I am awaiting it's return. New tape, new felt pads. It already sounded great so I can't wait. Love this echo, took a gamble one that was untested by the seller. If you get a working one, they are great for the price.

There was one of these all over our local CL for ages, last asking price I saw was CAD$80. Almost bought it but it seemed like such a hassle to get tapes...
