Any idea what year the catalog is from? I've got a Shinei Companion (FY-6) fuzz like the one pictured, and would like a rough date for it.

My guess would be the early '70's. I found this on a Japanese web site and the date was not posted.

Is there anybody that can tell me the difference between Shin-ei and Companion? I own a fuzz/wah and also a fuzz, respectively labelled as WF-8 and FY-2 in the Companion catalog posted above.

They're both brands owned by the same company, some pedals mention both names on the label (Shin-Ei Companion).

This company made pedals for a lot of other brands as well, usually the only difference was a different label.
