There's a later one (1971) 1973 with japanese inventor...

Glad you brought that up, p*d! I fond a great vid where Del Casher tells the story - don't you worry!

Del says he had his first idéa of this 1965 at Thomas Organ. And his story is not in line with wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wah-wah_pedal where it says "The creation of the wah-wah pedal was actually an accident which stemmed from the re-design of the Vox Super Beatle guitar amplifier in 1966." Del says he asked the chief of the electronics division, Dan Cuttler, for help with his new idéa and was given the young and good engineer Brad Plunkett for help. Of course he should have been on the inventor list himself. But then, listen also to the totally absurd story of how Clyde McCoy came into this buisness!
