So this is basically a MKI Tone Bender that can be switched to SuperBee?

The super zee mode adds volume and a bit more bass. I believe it's switching in a larger output cap value (someone can correct me on that if I am wrong)?

switching in a resistor in parallel with the 2.2M output/limiting resistor to drop the resistance to 1.1M.... less resistance = moar volume and add more treble/bass content

Ah yes...twas explained by the cap already...duh. I've got a 2015 1965 and the super zee setting on it is pretty dang powerful!! It's great in a live setting when you really want to cut through!
