D*A*M Skunkworks: Model P-80a 'The Ghost"

Post by professor plum »

I figured I would throw the pics of the pink lady in a thread here just to archive it in the right section...

Elka Dizzytone voiced to shimmer turned down and eat your face cranked. and it does just that. <3 in Daves words, its somethink akin to a "dizzyaround"
Mullard Trio of OC45, 84 and 71.
The Captain wrote: Sounds like it cuts downs trees. You have been warned. It is loud and very nasty when cranked. Its got the shiny shimmer in there too with a little tweaking. I'm chuffed with the results, especially the board layout, hope you dig the pink.
i have never played a better fuzz in all my days. :marx:

p.s. ill get back plate pics in a bit a post them up here too...

it sounds rad beyond words. people on here said their dizzytones sounded like "a rusty chainsaw slowly gnawing away at your face" but this one is like if rolex made a fucking swiss precision chainsaw. the clarity of the notes even with ridiculous fuzz is pretty astounding.

its super gnarly but theres one metric shit-ton of sounds in it, between messing with its knobs, amp volume, pickups ect...

it even does its own special- what i would call "tweed-flavored" big muff impression with the sustain full up and the attack all the way down. its got a huge BMP-ish sound with this slightly out of control low end thats sick.

im in love :badlove: :marx: :hihi: :badteeth:

your correct on both points my friend. to have one of the coolest circuits ever voiced just for me by one of the coolest builders ever is both a dream and a honor.

whoever gets this thing next will have had pried it from my cold dead fingers... i think and hope ill get some more cool and rad pedals in my lifetime but i cant see anything topping this... the sound is there. the quality is there. that fact that it was made just for me is there. sooooooooooooooooooo good. :badlove:
