Old Bees and New Bees

Post by hyeronimusss »

Is there a significant evolution in the bees voice?
I've read somewhere that the early bees are very close to the 1966 bee setting, while the more recent one are more heavy on the bass side, is that correct?

I would say no. Having owned one in the 20s and one of the newer ones with the bug eyes my conclusion is that they both sounded nearly identical. Now the super bee mode on the 1966 is a different beast...

Those orange ones sound good
