So to be clear... is it the same as the 66 in super-bee mode?

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

Same, nope. Similar, yes. It is the same circuit as the 1966 (Vox TB) but ever so slightly tweaked so it sits more comfortability between the output levels of the Drag'n'fly and the Std. Meathead.
In a nutshell, a little more balls than the stock Super Bee mode but still with a vintage voice that will be able to deal with higher gain and modern pick-ups types a little more efficiently.

The Super Bee is going to be much more responsive to humbuckers than the 1966, which favors single coil pups.

sounds good to me. I love my 66 with everything I throw at it but I agree about the single coils thing. To me it sounds best with my Strat and Tele.

So is this Super bee the same as the extra meaty Super bee mode on those recent red n' gold sparkle 66's?

This is another list that I will be VERY excited to try to get on. I love my '66 but I wish that the Sper Bee more mode had a little more.. here it is!!! :errr:
