This is my new song called "Red Suns Rays (Beating Down Upon My Back)" and I think it really showcases the 'holy grail of doom tone,' IMO, Dopesmoker, that the Meathead Dark can achieve. The set up is my BKP Warpig loaded SG into the MH Dark at around noon into a cranked Matamp GTO120. The amp is run into a 2x15 and a 4x12. The guitar on the left is the 2x15 and the left is the 4x12. The clip really shows the difference between the two. Surprisingly, the 2x15 is more nasally and sits higher in the mix. Conan, my rig sounds soo similar to yours. Great minds think alike, right?
Anyways, the song features guest lead vocals from the mighty Mike Land and my 15 year old sister does some harmony. Its got parts which are very reminiscent to Holy Mountain-era Sleep, I recognize this, but that's just how the thing turned out.
