Think of it as a blue meanie SCB MKII but attitude of a Meathead. It is noticeably louder than any of the MKIIs I have and rougher around the edges (treading toward MKI territory). Cleans up really well (not quite like a FF but with many useful shades of crunch as you lower the guitar volume knob). I think of it as a more "evolved" MKII but still sounds vintage and crusty.
