Grease Box #000

Post by TheWarmth »

Going to give this guy a go at rehearsal tomorrow night. Seems as though the numbering started over after the initial, limited run that were sold via lottery, so this is obviously not the first Grease Box made. However ... I'm have been wanting a Grease Box for a LONG time and I am particularly psyched out of my mind to have this in my sweaty palm right now. Recording sessions are booked for April and May and I bet this one will wind up on a few tracks, for sure.

Nonetheless, having a #000 is something special. :tu:

So gas-inducing, it's hard to even look at!
Have you tested it yet thru your rehearsal or home setup? Likey?

What gets me is all the tweaking,
just crank that bitch and be done with it! -- duende

the Grease Box is an AMAZING pedal that bridges between fuzz and distortion. :phpslayer: It has the raging tone of almost an early RAT pedal,
yet still retains all the dynamic response of a discrete transistor based tonebender. :freakout: It cleans up REALLY well with a slight turn of the
guitar volume knob, between 9 and 10 it goes BALLS WILD with gain! :crackjam:

I started the numbering all over on the GB-80's as I did and do consider it a different pedal to the original Grease Box's, artwork wise, layout and build style etc. The circuit is basically the same just ever so slightly refined in the bias department.

Congrats Paul!!
