Too good to be true?

Post by dazed and confused »

Nope....

I've had a great day. A box of fuzz from up Norf landed in London today.
What's this? A box from Dave? Always good news, eh!

So, I got a MKII with Impex's and this baby:-

I just spent the last 6 hours playing the hell out of this beast. I should be working, I aint stopped to eat, try that Impex MKII, walk the dog, nothing. My ears are ringing, I need a piss and I feel a lil' dizzy :badteeth:

If you get the chance to get one of these, beg, borrow, steal (not mine, please!), just get one.
I'm not gonna say that I prefer it to Dave's other work, which is all crazy good. But, just want to say that if you can, get one. Dave keeps excelling himself.

I was lucky enough to get the prototype. Here's a shot up her skirt (the dirty cow):

'Zep' absolutely hates it :hihi:

Right, better take him for a walk. Then, I'm gonna grab some beers and play the shit out of this baby.

I am blown away with this thing.
Thanks Dave, great stuff. :freakout:

That's probably one of the best quotes I've ever seen inside a D*A*M.

We had to put our dog to sleep last friday...

For some reason he always came around when I played, laid right there in front of the amp. He didn't seem to be bothered at all by the noise and fuzz. Shit...

Just give your dog a big hug for me.
Condolences, the bums lost!

Ah, fuck. I'm so sorry man. We've had some super-shitty news on the forum over the last few weeks.
I've lost three German Shepherds over the years. My last one died in his sleep, aged 18.

I love Zep, he's so cool and don't mind the loudness. A dogs love is unconditional, right?

I played the Impex MKII tonight, its an absolute BEAST! David knows far too fucking much about building great sounding fuzzes.
Unfortunately, it is the Fuzz Rippers and not mine.
(Mr Ripper, I have your MKII OC82DM here, its held as hostage, if you ever want to trade... :hihi:)
