I don't know if Jerms was forgotten. I'm guessing either:
a. They ran out of fonts that were originally used.
b. The added cost for shipping the completed units from USA to Uk made it prohibitive.

I thought it might be things like that too.
Plus 50 units is a lot. For a full time builder it was obviously manageable. Jim builds on the side I believe so probably couldn’t commit fully and gig and go to work. Also maybe as Sola sound was a British Brand they wanted to keep the model “Made in England” ?

actually you guys nailed it - would have loved a Jim built Mk1 in the range but thought it best to keep the first Mk1s in 50 years British built .

I'm totally sure one day we will do something together
