Can anyone date this? It was rewired by me, switch replaced, PCB looks untouched. Also bought it with replaced stereo Preh pot wired as a volume pedal in bypass mode and wah PLUS volume pedal in active mode, very funny indeed :smashed:
Also, what easily available pot do i want to put there for nice operation?

Early to mid 70s I’d guess.
A castledine pot would work well

Take the Doctor's advice: Stu's pots are incredibly good. Throw one of those in there ASAP. :freakout:

Stu's got a trashed Clyde wah of mine at the moment, and I'm secretly hoping that the Icar pot is ruined as well, so that that pedal could also be fitted with one of his repros :teeth2:

New pot and switch.
The clip which holds the ladder in place is also seen on trash cans etc.
I’m guessing it’s a sticker wah from early - mid 68

Hello folks, I just joined this group as I've recently acquired an older CryBaby wah and I've been trying to get more info on it. Joe Gagan was kind enough to point me to this thread for more info. I know this is an older thread, but thought I'd just share with the group! So from what I can gather, it would be an Italian but wondering if it's a Jen before they rebranded from EME/EKO? Also wondering if there's a way to date it, 1970? Anyhoot, all the best!

Nice wah.
Looks all original.
Judging by the serial and the white trim at the base, imo I’d imagine mid 69-70.
