86 is way too late for a JV. I think it’s even too late for an SQ.innerflight wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 7:27 am I’ve just seen a JV Squire made in 86 advertised, that’s bullshit right?

Re: Made in Japan
I am a big fan of the Greco Matsumoku factory builds coming out of Japan. I had a few pass through my hands and loved everyone of them. I stupidly sold a few off before moving that I wish I would have kept in retrospect. The Navigator builds are also very nice. My first guitar I ever bought was an Aria Matsumoku Les Paul build and I paid all of 95 for it. I still have it.
Never argue with an idiot, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience

I found a nice Tokai Les Paul Reborn from my birth year (1978) that I really want. Just wondering what a fair price would be for an example in excellent condition.

Do you know which model it is? I know a lad picked one up for about £750 UK a couple of years ago. I believe that was an LS60.drunkenguitarist wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 6:32 pm I found a nice Tokai Les Paul Reborn from my birth year (1978) that I really want. Maybe a Seattlelite forum member can help, jerms or redeyeflight?
The shop also has some very nice Grecos for half the price of the Tokai.
