^ I believe the next project is a triangle muff inspired fuzz. I saw from Tate-san’s Insta that he is developing the board

Finally managed to get my mits on a couple of these. Literally put my fuzz migrant tendencies to rest for a bit. Had to finally accept that a lot of the Tonebender type fuzzes just aren’t optimal with aluminum guitars. These and rats work perfect!

Wow, blown away by how amazing this is.

Violetta v2 “Dark Side”.

The variety of sounds you can get is incredible, and they’re all great. The hype is definitely really. Tate is a genius!

I just got the PayPal invoice for the Violetta dark side. I can hardly wait for it. This will be my third September Sound.

I wish David would jump back in with some muff style builds.

Has anybody compared September Sound to another known builder from Japan, Roshi? His Muffs seem pretty well regarded as well. I would consider myself a Muff novice, do the switches and such on the top side of the SS Muffs approximate different eras of Muff or just tune the tone to taste? They seem highly tweakable.

Haven't played a Roshi but I hear they are excellent.
The switches from top to bottom are boost, mid select (flat, stock, bumped) and diode select (stock, diode bypass, led/germanium combo) and the tiny knobs control an input filter and the boost level. Tweakable to an extreme degree. A real Swiss army muff, but I ended up passing mine on because I kept it pretty much stock and I kinda had option paralysis when looking at all the controls
