Minotaur Sonic Terrors

Post by Bigfoot2000 »

Just got one of their Evil Eye one knobbers. Absolutely huge. Killer doom fuzz. This thing is noisy and dirty as fuck, I had to fiddle with the internal trim pot to gate the background hiss but when I got the sweet spot right, fucking hell :headpop:

Great prices, check them out!

Nothing like a Meathead, supposed to be a take on the Colorsound 1 knob. Meathead is thick in the mids, straight down the middle, this is wooly and full of bass.

As said above, really noisy and hissy but you can dial that out with the bias. Got it Velcro zipping like an FZ1. Huge bassy sound very doomy, if that’s what you’re after. Not bad for a £70 Ebay score (I nearly put it back up on the bay because of the noise but dialled it out and now I’m keeping it)

*edit* Slomatics are using some of their stuff as per Instagram

These are very tempting at that price. Been a while since I had a new fuzz to get my teeth into.

I love how they describe fuzz'n'burn sounding like a cranked vinage orange/matamp. I borrowed one from a friend, traced it and realised it was close to 1:1 meathead clone with cap switch (plus probably SHO clone which I didn't even bother to trace). Kindly thanks for this kind of advertising :P But it sounded very nice indeed.
