Thanks a lot Tony! :)Dr Tony Balls wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 4:25 pm Then it needs a 9V, center negative supply. AKA standard pedal power.

Re: BOSS DD2
FWIW, I purchased one of these off Amazon about 2 months ago:
https://www.amazon.com/OTraki-Universal ... 9603779848
It has been a real champ and includes, in addition to 8 9V outputs, 1 12V and 1 18 V output as well. My next project is make an external box with 2 Charge Pump outlets so that I can use them to experiment with PNP transistors for Fuzzes while power off the main block.

Re: BOSS DD2
This is what you want.
Better than batteries as batteries will last you 5 minutes.
Better than voodoo lab too.
It’ll bring out the best in all early boss pedals imo

Re: BOSS DD2
You can run those old ACA adapter pedals at 12 V, or clip the diode inside and run them at 9V, or daisy chain the power with other standard 9V centre -ve pedals.
DD2 runs at standard 9V centre -ve though

Re: BOSS DD2
And *sometimes* those ACA pedals run okay through "9" volts, depending. My neighbor brought me a DM-2 and a VB-2 that he had (both ACA versions) and said that the DM-2 recently stopped working, and the VB-2 never worked. Turned out that he had a One Spot which was unregulated and enough over 9V to get the DM-2 working, but not the VB-2. But he had switched that out for a Voodoo Labs which was a proper 9 and not enough to power either.
