here's the old Arbiter NKT-275 Fuzz Face I just finished restoring. it turned out pretty good I think. it was missing knobs, jacks, some ground wiring, back plate, feet. It had a battery switch installed right between the eyes, and a battery clip fastened to the shell via a small screw on top.
I replaced the knobs with some neat Bulgin bakelite ones
Removed the battery clip, filled the hole, and blended in a mixed hammerite. The inside of the case was all sanded in this area for some reason, about a 2" patch, so I feathered some mixed paint to hide it
bought a replica bottom plate from Steve, and aged to match top.
Replaced Japanese battery switch w" an era correct Bulgin wafer switch
aged and dyed some brown wire to finish grounding
Sourced one correct Rendar, and one slightly inaccurate Rendar
The Fuzz pot was an inaccurate, era-correct type. I tried replacing it with a rebuilt radiohm piece, but, despite being the same value, the inaccurate pot sounded much better.
installed correct, plastic mushroom bumpers
swapped zip ties for aged electrical tape
Happily, the circuit was completely untouched. it's got the cool Marcon electros

Probably a couple months? Mostly due to shipping. I already had some of the stuff kicking around the shop too.
