That's be cool thanks.
It does look like it's been living rough for a while...
One thing I noticed is the signal kinda fades in when you kick it off, and turning the depth knob while in bypass does the same thing. Capacitor? is that normal? Hard to describe, but it's as though when you stomp on the button to turn it off, the signal cuts out for a fraction of a second then ramps back up to normal.

Eleven years since the last post here, but a few weeks back I stumbled across a Californian eBay seller by the name of tush.0 who is selling Orange Sunshines and who - judging by his other items - I’m pretty sure is Tracy Sands. True to form, his listings are bare bones and exceptionally low key (two pics, not a lot of info), but they do note that the Orange Sunshine is “the original and best”. Now, if his Discog’s page is correct, Tracy would be 70 years-old now, and he’s still making Orange Sunshines in exactly the same way he always has: same tag board strip in a Hammond enclosure, same “stomp and go” philosophy. All that’s missing is a battery clip. He even throws in an old-school 9-volt battery (non-alkaline, of course) to make sure you don’t bugger up the sound.

Mine is sporting two 2N3397 transistors. It cost $80 and sounds like this:

Yep that is Tracy, I bought one of those a few months ago for the same price. I believe it said Tracy Sands on the return address too.

Thanks for confirming that, man. How cool is it that he's still cranking them out?

Also found his Linkedin page which lists him as Vintage Technology's electrical engineer from 1977 to the present!
