That diode being used as a gate is strange in the Scream Dracula Scream pedal... How does it sound? Is it a on/off/on switch or is the diode always connected to the input or output?

It's def not an on/off switch. The switch changes the tone ever so slightly. When I get home I'll try to givr a better description of what it sounds like, but it's pretty subtle.

On/Off/On is just a term for a three position switch. Not an on/off switch for powering the pedal. I'm wondering if the diode is always connected to either the input or output with no way to take it out of the circuit... Treble boosts are noisy by nature. Its probably there to alleviate that somewhat?

Here's something interesting, especially as the Banana appears to be an OS with a tone control. I found a pic (can't remember where) of an OS with a pot sticking out the side.

I just snagged a BFD tremolo too. Now if only someone *cough edkoppel *cough would sell me their extra Banana...
Anyone want to trade a Toad, Soy Bomb, or Banana for my second SDS?

The tremelo is really great. It's point to point just like the others but is a more complicated circuit. Uses two terminal strips. I never check out what the circuit was though. Only had about 20 minutes with it.

Does anyone own a Soy Bomb here?

I have only seen pictures of reissues which makes me think it wasn't part of the original batch, but to tell you the truth I have no idea?

How does it sound?

Just got mine -- it sounds pretty good. Bit of a volume jump on engage but nothing major. Nice range of speeds and depths too, and it's kinda purty inside. The whole battery snap has come off the base on mine. Have to figure out a way to reattach it...

you could always goop/rubber cement the battery clip?
I have a pedal like that and it is pretty solid.
