Isn’t that just a black acid, or is a black acid dark?

I belive it will be Meathead, just made with PCB. Maybe some tweaks, too. Meathead is evolving from time to time. I dig black/purple combo! :freakout:

Just continuing the nomenclature of the D*A*M M-27. It's basically the same as the Filter control on the DLX just wired in reverse and with a different pot taper. Total sludge mode is with the Treble control fully closed, just makes sense in my head as a user interface that way, or maybe it doesn't. That said, I just thought it was cool to have the word treble on there. Heh.

Yeah, and no. They share the same circuit skeleton but the Acid has an open EQ response where as the Meat is lower midrange heavy with a more ample output, 1960s vs 1970s if ya wanna strip it down to basics. The Acid has the pre-gain drive control where as the Meat has the tone control. Horses for courses innit.

Knee deep into em now, man. Aiming for the last week in July/First week in August to have the little buggers to be taking flight. So, 2 weeks to go, 3 weeks tops.
