Just picked up mine today. Tommy was super cool and nice enough to let me test it out in his store. Great spot and a great staff!!! Got to compare the oc-83 loaded one to the oc-78. Both were stellar!! Oc-83 one had a bit more gain and high end and the oc-78 was a little lower gain and crunchier sounding. These sound a bit like a MK II and a germanium fuzz face had an angry bearded baby! Good time.

All had Mullard OC82D's under the hood. Biased and tuned a little differently from the previous batch, which was August 2015. They were tuned a hotter with a faster attack, less stout in the lows and eased back a little on the output. I'd say it gives the yellow bugger a greater degree of flexibility and dynamic control, especially with humbuckers, the 2015 batch slayed with single coils but seemed to fatigue a little with humbuckers. The output is still plenty formidable and still plants a firm and heavy slug to the gut, now it just pats you on your back as you pick yourself up of the floor.
All were yellow, though two ever so slightly different shades there off. Yup, that fucked with the OCD no end. No bug eyes, chickeny beaks for accuracy. Gotta go fast.
