After a payment on Reverb and a short trip with USPS, this angry little fucker showed up! The good: it sounds awesome! Big, bold, crispy, I could go on… The bad: it only sounds awesome when it works. The second time I engaged it, the pedal sounded anemic, thin, almost distant. After some careful prodding under the hood, it seems like the foot switch is faulty. If the terminals are touched just so, the wrath returns! I guess the question is, do I pursue this on Reverb? (The seller seemed like a pretty stand-up guy. Tracking and feedback were provided almost instantly.) Is SonicVI still in the game if contacted for a repair? I haven’t seen Daniel on here in quite some time. If not, who in the USA do I turn to? Jerms, Blackstrap, other? Any advice is appreciated!

After some careful prodding under the hood, it seems like the foot switch is faulty.

If you're anywhere near competent with a soldering iron, a foot switch is an easy replacement.

Try cleaning it before replacing it. I bought an old Catalinbread boost pedal that needed a new foot switch. It worked for a bit when I sprayed DeOxit in the switch. But I’m the end I took a small flathead screwdriver, pried the tabs back and removed the insides. Cleaned the contact points then reassembled. Has been fine ever since

Yes. A guy contacted me about repairing a SonicVI a little while ago and I first just checked to see if Danny was doing repairs. He is, and if you want his email address shoot me a PM.

Got this for what felt like a good price, pretty sure this one is the Muff Fuzz in a larger enclosure. Even has the skid pad and battery door
