Gut shot :)
"Yes I remember a brave guy named Roger dancing around musicians and cleaning their shoes. Occasionally we gave him our broken pedals for repair to get peace for some hours."

1967 Guild Foxey Lady, the very rare version Mike Matthews had made for Guild by Aul Instruments. As I recall, it was basically just a modified Fuzz Rite. When Mosrite went under Mike jumped in there and took over supplying the Foxey Lady's to Guild, well into the 1970's.

It has been rumored that Jimi owned one. Nice to actually see he did.

Yeah, definitely looks like Guild Foxey Lady built by EHX, seen here on Kitrae's site:

Interesting that there is no Foxey lady silk screen on the lid. Possibly an early proto Mike gave to Jimi.

EDIT - Probably not a proto. I just remembered some of the early production had no Foxey Lady brand.

EDIT #2 - I just checked with Mike and he said he did not give Jimi one of these, and did not know he owned one. Must have been bought at Manny's.
